Reno Heat Ballers: National Spotlight

Reno, Nevada is home to one of the fastest rising off-season football programs in the west region, The Reno Heat Ballers.  The Reno Heat program was founded in late 2017 by Coach Sydney Helu and Notis after partnering up with former NFL Veteran Duke Williams to help bring national attention from colleges to the abundance of talent that Northern Nevada has to offer. The first Reno Heat practice was conducted in a park with just 21 athletes.  After getting kicked out of that park and bouncing from site to site looking for a place to workout, the Reno Heats purpose and mission was recognized by the community and the program was given the opportunity to develop a partnership to train and study out of the No Limit Sports Lab Facility. The Reno Heat also work alongside an elite off-season lineman training program Hog Heaven. Hog Heaven is coached by former NFL Lineman Charles Manu and Jerome Johnson.  Together, these two programs cover the gamut of football talent that Northern Nevada has to offer.
